Help me create a healthy shake with a boost.?

I have been making shakes in the morning and am looking to add a boost. I typically use 1 banana, frozen berries, some acai juice, dash of apple cider vinegar (organic), some milk and a spoon of spirulina. I am looking for other powders to boost my shake or ‘kick it up a notch’. I am looking for healthy, and maybe energy type stuff. Anything that will make my shake healthier would be awesome. Thanks!

hemp/soy isolate or whey protein powder
wheat germ
ground flax seeds

    I add a whole food drink powder to my smoothies that might be the "boost" you’re looking for. It has guarana in it (caffeine) so if you’re opposed to that, it may not be what you’re looking for. Anyway, here’s a link with more info http://www.urilife.net/best_whole_food_vitamin/feastsc.html .

    You need more protein – I’m with the people who suggested protein powder. I like the whey proteins that are sweetened with stevia instead of sucralose or splenda etc. Unless you want to just add a shot of expresso to it, I don’t know that there is anything natural to put in for energy other than what you’ve already used.
